16 August 2016, Kuala Lumpur – Double A, the leading copy paper manufacturer collaborates with the Malaysian Nature Society in an effort to educate the public on deforestation issues and the importance of sustainable consumption in hopes of preserving the environment. The beginning of this collaboration starts with a week long campaign through the 1Dream1Tree (ODOT) project and The Unfortunate Tales of a Treeless World that will be exhibited from 15-21 August at Mid Valley Megamall.

The short spots have been rewarded with silver for Craft film and bronze for Film at Eurobest 2013 and have also received the Grand Cristal for Film at the Cristal Festival 2013. Developed by Buzzman, the campaign aims at attracting French consumers and increasing brand awareness. It also encourages them to reconsider the value of common objects and in particular the value of paper, humorously demonstrating that, despite appearances, all papers are not of equal quality.

Bangkok, Thailand, 4 May 2017 – Double A continues its active promotion of sustainable fiber sourcing in Thailand through certification. The Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC) accepted Double A as an International Stakeholder member, the first Thai company to be accepted in the alliance.

The eye-catching creation of “Obsession for Smoothness” music VDO that was the 4 parties collaboration between the premium copy paper Double A, an American alternative rock band OK GO , Spa Hakuhodo and the creative agency SIX Inc., continuously succeeded to win the Grand Prix award for Technological Achievement subcategory of the Digital Craft Category at Spikes Asia 2018 which take place at Suntec, Singapore.

Dubai, UAE, 11 March 2015 – Double A’s portfolio of premium quality ‘Made in Europe’ paper, from their Alizay Mill in France, were on exhibit at Middle East’s largest fair for paper and stationery, held at the Zabeel Hall of the Dubai International Convention Center.

Hong Kong, 28 April 2015 – The Joint University Outstanding Marketing Award (JUOMA) 2014-15, with the theme ‘Innovation through paper’, has named the winners of this year’s competition. The students from City University of Hong Kong bagged the Gold Award for their brilliant concept of branding Double A paper into ‘FUN, SMART and GREEN”, as well as the Best Advertising Video Award. This year’s champions received HKD 10,000, a trophy and an all expense paid trip to Thailand to visit Double A paper’s mill and farmed trees (Paper from KHAN-NA). Silver Award went to the team composed of students from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, City University of Hong Kong, The University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong Baptist University and Chinese University of Hong Kong, while the Bronze Award went to the Hong Kong Polytechnic University.

Alizay, France, 21 May 2015 – Double A partners with ADVEO, Europe’s largest wholesaler on office supplies. This commitment plans to roll out Double A through Europe, to increase the presence of Double A’s premium paper across the ADVEO network (Calipage, Plein Ciel, Elite group, Office Deal, Buro +…).

Recently, Double A has been granted the Outstanding Establishment Award on Occupational Safety, Health and Environment 2015 at the 29th National Safety Week on Advanced Economy through Safe and Healthy Workers held in Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre (BITEC).

In July 2015, Double A received for the 2nd time the Green Meetings certificate from the Thailand Business Council for Sustainable Development (TBCSD) and Thailand Environment Institute Foundation (TEI). The certificate is issued only every three (3) years to organizations that are well aware of their environmental impacts and are doing their best to ensure the efficient and sustainable use of natural resources.

Bangkok, Thailand – Mr. Thirawit Leetavorn, the Senior Executive Vice President of Double A, will speak at the 14th Asian Forum on Corporate Social Responsibility (AFCSR) on 9 September 2015 in Shangri-la Hotel under the session ‘Partnering with the Bottom of the Pyramid (BoP). This session focuses on how social innovations serve the BoP markets.
