Double A Supports Shishu Polli Plus
DHAKA, Bangladesh, 2 June 2014 - Double A has stepped up for the education of impoverished and helpless children in Bangladesh. The paper company has pledged to support Shishu Polli Plus, a purpose built rehabilitation village for children and their mothers, with one year supply of paper and shoulder the computer training of the children.
Mr. Thirawit Leetavorn, Double A Senior Executive Vice President said, “As a paper company, developing human wisdom and social well-being are among our goals. With this, we are pleased to take part in helping the underprivileged children of Bangladesh, by giving them the basic paper needs and vocational training for their own welfare. We are hoping that this initiative will create a genuine impact to the children under Shishu Polli Plus”. Double A will supply the organization with paper for one year
“We were absolutely delighted to receive the first of twelve (a year’s supply) donations of paper from Double A. It is routine things like paper that add to our running costs and are very hard to raise money for. This will free up more of our resources to be spent on the mothers and children we work with”, shared Ms. Patricia Kerr, Overseas Director, Shishu Polli Plus
