Advance Agro Public Company Limited was incorporated as a public company under Thai laws. The Company operates in Thailand and its principal activity is the manufacturing of pulp and paper. The registered address of the Company's head office is on No.1, Moo 2, Tha Toom, Sri Maha Phote, Prachinburi. The company produces 3 kinds of products; namely, Paper, Bleached Eucalyptus Kraft Pulp (BEKP) and Electricity details as follow;
1. Paper Products
The Company’s main products are printing and writing paper which can be categorized into 2 types
1.1 Uncoated Wood Free Paper
This kind of paper is basically used for writing and printing purposes such as text books, magazines, business newspapers, general printing, handbooks, computer continuous printing form and photo copy etc. The products are produced in different gram mage ranging from 50-120 grams/sq.m. in 2 forms; i.e. roll and sheets. The rolls are further processed into cut-size paper, Double A paper.
1.2 Coated Paper or Art Paper
The kind of paper is coated both side with white coating material to give smooth and glossy surface. The papers are available in both roll and sheet forms in different gram 100, 115, 130, 150, 160 grams/sq.m..
2. Bleached Eucalyptus Kraft Pulp (BEKP)
Pulp produced is categorized into 3 grades as follow;
2.1 Slurry Pulp:
These accounts for 40 % of all pulp produced and are sent to the two paper machines through connected pipes.
2.2 Wet Lap Pulp:
This contains 50 % moisture and accounts for about 10 % of total produced. All is for domestic sales and some is sold to a subsidiary, Hi-Tech Paper Co., Ltd. for the production of paper.
2.3 Dry Pulp:
This contains 10 % moisture and accounts for about 50 % of total pulp produced. It is for both domestics and exports sales
3. Electricity
The Company has 9 power plants which can generate both electricity and steam, being in operation since April 1996. The first and the second power plants utilized biomass fuel and black liquor. Total installed electricity generating capacities of 75 MW and steam of 196 tones / hour at 84 bar pressure.
The third power plant utilized black liquor. It has installed electricity generating capacities of 33 MW and steam of 200 tones / hour at 84 bar pressure
